You must use our services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all relevant local, national, and international laws. You are responsible for ensuring that the items you wish to send comply with our list of acceptable goods and do not fall under prohibited items.
Prebooked Deliveries
Customers can schedule courier jobs in advance through our customer service team.
Cancellation
To cancel a prebooked delivery, customers must notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled collection time.
Cancellation Fees
If a booking is not cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start, a cancellation fee of 100% of the courier job cost will apply. This fee covers the allocation of resources and potential lost business due to late cancellations.
Waiting Time
By booking with Primelink Couriers, you agree to our waiting time allowances and associated charges. For jobs using small vans up to and including Luton vans, the first 30 minutes at collection and delivery is included. After this, a charge of £30 per hour applies, billed in 30-minute increments. For haulage jobs (7.5t and above), the first 60 minutes at collection and delivery is included. Beyond this, a charge of £50 per hour applies, also billed in 30-minute increments.
Customer Responsibility
Customers must ensure that all items sent through Primelink Couriers comply with these Terms and Conditions and applicable laws. Primelink Couriers is not responsible for any loss, damage, or delay resulting from failure to comply.
Prohibited Items
Primelink Couriers does not accept illegal or controlled substances, hazardous materials, perishable items not agreed in advance, firearms or ammunition, stolen or counterfeit goods, or items restricted under UK, EU, or international law. We may refuse collection or delivery of prohibited items, and customers sending them may be subject to legal action.
Insurance and Liability
Liability for loss or damage is limited to the cost price of the goods, not the retail or replacement value. Maximum liability is £10,000 per load. Customers are encouraged to declare the value of high-value, fragile, or specialised items and purchase additional insurance if required. Primelink Couriers is not responsible for indirect, consequential, or financial losses resulting from delays or failed deliveries.
Item Packaging
All items must be securely packaged to withstand handling and transportation. Primelink Couriers is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
Claims
Claims for loss, damage, or delay must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery or the expected delivery date. Claims must include proof of value, photographs of damage if applicable, and shipment details. Primelink Couriers reserves the right to inspect damaged items before processing compensation.
Special Requirements
Customers must inform Primelink Couriers of any items requiring special handling, temperature control, or regulatory compliance. Failure to do so may limit or void liability.
